1. Compose a respsonse to a current event that you feel strongly about--locally, nationally, or internationally
2. Try to keep it around a maxiumum word count of 500-600 words.
3. Profanity is fine and won't be censored out, but please leave out hateful language-- that means no words or phrases that aim to hurt or marginalize particular groups. Also, please be conscious of how you're choosing to represent WashPIRG as an organization. If we have any questions or concerns about your piece, we'll talk to you before posting or featuring it in our newsletter.
4. Send your finished editorial to [email protected] and clarify if you'd like to have your name on it or remain anonymous. Please make the subject of your email Student Editorials and include the date.
5. Please include your Student ID number with your submission.
